Economic Growth and Development Center (Economic Center) and Economic Developers Alberta have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide Study Tours and Economic Development Training for development practitioners and professionals across Nigeria and Africa. The two organizations have also set their sights on an annual Africa Forum for Economic Development (A-FED). 

A-FED aims to combat poverty, promote human capital development, encourage local investment and foster economic resilience. The partnership with EDA promises exciting opportunities for effective economic development training, global partnerships, increased productivity and economic prosperity with resilience for our participating institutions and organizations. 
EDA and the Economic Growth and Development Center are also exploring the possibility of offering EDA Training at the A-FED
Economic Growth and Development Center is now set for the Study Tours and Training in Calgary, Canada. 
The maiden Study Tour and Training is December 10 – 15, 2023. Apply now. Opening is limited.
